Last couple days have been extremely windy, But looks like we are about the see a relief. The longterm weather forecast for the first part on November looks great. We are moving into our “cooler” months and that is going to bring some different species. While there are still some Tarpon to fish for (on the warmer days), we are mixing it up with some different types of fishing. This is the time of year that variety is key. As far as Tourism goes, we are in the “slow” season. But that’s not true for the fishing. Fishing in September can be great with the light winds and the water starting to cool off. Summer is here!!! It has been HOT. There are still some Tarpon around and the best time to target them is during the cooler times of day. Early morning or Early evening. We offer both times. Also a nice mixed bag of snappers, sharks, barracudas etc to fill in.

The Annual Tarpon Migration might be coming to an end, BUT we still target Tarpon year round. Every year more and more Tarpon just don’t leave and become what we call Resident fish. July is a great time to target some of these newly resident Tarpon. We’ve also been catching plenty of Jacks, Sharks, Snappers, etc.
