October fishng in Key West on the ShadowCaster has remained HOT!!!!! We love this time of year for the variety of species we can target. The weather is cooling and the so are the water temps. That brings in the bait and along with it the fish!!!! Barracudas are roaming the flats and they are among the top predators and the most fun you can have on light tackle. They are lightening fast, they often jump and will scream drag!!!! Snappers and Jacks are filling in the Channels and shallow rock piles. Early morning Tarpon are still a thing throughout the cooler months.
So theres a lot to do this time of year and I predict it’ll just get better as we approach our November and December fishing in Key West.
